Before contacting Dominic Grieve, please ensure you have browsed this list of frequently asked questions:
1. I am a constituent. Can I arrange an appointment to see Dominic?
Dominic is happy to meet his constituents and will do everything he can to help them with their problems. However, before seeing them he finds it very useful to have a letter or an email which contains all the relevant facts and details. This enables him to prepare for the meeting and consider what the best course of action will be.
So simply write or email Dominic Grieve and his secretary will be in touch to book you in for a meeting.
2. When and where does Dominic hold meetings with constituents?
Constituency surgery appointments are held in Beaconsfield Old Town on most Fridays. Dominic is always in his constituency on a Friday unless his frontbench duties require him to be elsewhere.
3. I am not a constituent but can I see Dominic anyway?
MPs do not take up cases of constituents of other MPs.
However, if you want to see Dominic in relation to any of his frontbench roles, he will be happy to meet you.
4. Will Dominic Grieve sign Early Day Motions?
EDMs are typically used by backbench MPs to publicise their views, to draw attention to specific events or campaigns or to demonstrate the extent of parliamentary support for a particular point of view. Conservative frontbench MPs very rarely sign EDMs unless it has been sponsored by the Party and is treated as official policy.
However, Dominic still reads the content of EDMs with interest and is keen to know the opinions of his constituents and if he cannot sign an EDM he may be in a position to take the matter up with a minister.
